Lady GaGa’s New ‘Born This Way’ Remix EP: A Review

Lady GaGa - Born This WayLady GaGa’s new song “Born This Way” as a single is okay, but I was curious as to what it would sound like tweaked, hopefully better than the original. The answer to my question is found on the Remix EP ‘Born This Way’.

Included is the standard version, but the real intrigue is in the remixes. “The DJ White Shadow Remix” is a pretty good version. It’s the shortest of the remixes and not too bad a version, but not the best. “The LA Riots Remix” is good but seemingly a touch on the long side. It just can’t hold a candle to the best version.

Indeed, going the extra mile was possible. The real gem is the marvelous “Chu Fu Born To Fix Remix”. This really validates the song in a way not achieved by any other version. This has excellent keyboards and a hot guitar sound at the end. I have always been into remixes as there is always a chance that they are credible or even able to surpass the original version. This version is an excellent example of how good remixes can be.

The complete release will be available on May 23rd, 2011. This will tide over hardcore Lady GaGa fans until then. Four star listening pleasure is achieved due to the awesome creativity of the remix.
