Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI), the only North American satellite radio service provider, will launch a new and exclusive channel dedicated solely to the music of the Dave Matthews Band. Sirius XM’s ‘Dave Matthews Band Radio’ will feature commercial-free music, live recordings and interviews from the band’s extensive archives. The channel will also feature special segments with all of the band’s members, as well as music from Dave Matthews’ side projects as a solo artist, including his collaborations with Tim Reynolds.

Sirius XM will launch the Dave Matthews Band Radio channel on Saturday, September 1st at 11:00 pm ET with an exclusive live broadcast of the Dave Matthews Band in concert at the historic Gorge Amphitheater located along the Columbia River in George, Washington. Sirius XM will air encore presentations of this special concert throughout the month September

‘Dave Matthews Band Radio’ will feature music spanning the entirety of the band’s catalog, from the very beginning to their new album Away From the World, scheduled for Tuesday, September 11th release. The Dave Matthews Band will offer SiriusXM listeners an exclusive preview of their new album, personally introducing each song and sharing stories about the music and their 21-year career.
Sirius XM’s ‘Dave Matthews Band Radio’ will air from September 1st, 2012 to Sunday, September 30th on Sirius Radio channel 142 and XM Radio channel 43. The channel will also be made available online via Sirius XM’s Internet radio platform on channel 714.
